Silk Ribbon Embroidery w/Jane Puurala
Join us to learn the art
of making beautiful silk ribbon roses and varied blossoms. Bring
needles, scissors, & sewing supplies if you have them, if not,
materials are Available in store.

One dimensional needle felting w/Lynn
Do you have a favourite
photo or print or a great idea?
Did you know that
you can duplicate it onto a piece of wool fabric that can be
transformed into a purse, or a piece of clothing or be framed? Yes
it can, let me show you how. Come see examples in the store.

Knitted and Felted Mitts w/Susan Smith
Transform pure wool yarn
into a pair of lusciously warm mitts. You can kick them up a notch by
adding eyelash yarn, ou la la!

into berries to create a whimsical piece of jewellery. Bring
along seed beads to add some sparkle and whimsy.

Learn how to construct
the most comfortable slippers that you will ever wear. These little
beauties have a double sole and are like Cinderella's slippers. Slip
your feet into them when they are still
a bit damp and make them
uniquely your own. Seventy colours of wool to choose from.

Knit a Christmas Sock w/Marg
Learn how to knit a
sock, turn your first heel and do some colour work while creating
a Christmas stocking in three colours. Marg will dazzle you with
time saving techniques and tricks.

Have you always wanted
to learn to knit a pair of funky designer socks? You really must join
us to unlock the secret as Susan shares her expertise. Choose from a

in funky colours. Almost 100 choices available in Regia & Stahl brand
yarns.

Learn how to knit lace
using a beautiful blend of hemp/cotton/modal yarn in luscious colours
by Elsbeth Lavold.
This class will give you the confidence to get you
on your way to knitting stunning lace shawls.

Ever dream of knitting
with beads? Marg will unlock the secret.
You will be on your way to
knitting tiny amulets and jewellery, adding beads to sweaters, shawls
and more.

Knit a Moebius Shawl the Cat Bordhi Way w/Marg
Learn to knit a
continuous circle with a twist. Marg will dazzle you with this unique
technique. You will learn a new method of casting on to achieve this
unusual twist! No pun intended :)

Knit a Celtic Vest
w/Marg
Come unlock the secret
of knitting with swing needles, all the
while creating a fascinating
sideways style vest using Fleece Artist hand-dyed "Scotian Silk". The
colours are scrumptious and each creation is as unique as the
knitter.

Beginner Knitting w/Marg
Come in and learn
how to cast on and off, increase and
decrease. Learn stockinette stitch, seed stitch and a couple
different lace patterns. Yarn is supplied, at no charge, for the
first two lessons.

Rainbow of Beads: Earrings & Pendant w/Linda
Using Swarovski Crystals
or Semi-precious stones, create pieces in cascading colour.

Bi-colour Peyote Perfection Bracelet w/Linda
Choose a two colour
pattern from the several designs offered in the kit. Learn this off
loom technique while creating a beautiful bracelet. Linda will dazzle
you with her knowledge on the history
of bead weaving while sharing
her expertise on peyote stitch.

Crystal & Yarn Necklace w/Linda
Be as bold or elegant as
you choose in making this necklace of Swarovski crystals and seed
beads. If you keep a few crystals
and beads aside you can also create
a pair of matching earrings.

WEAVING CLASSES times SIX
(Mondays 7 - 10pm) - $175.00
Beginner Weaving
Class:
Learn how to plan a weaving project, calculate supplies needed,
measure out your warp and dress the loom. Equipment for duration of
classes is supplied. Materials of your choice available on site. You
can choose your project - scarf, shawl or runner.
